Adam Cole is reportedly still not cleared to return to in-ring action despite making his return to AEW TV on last week’s edition of Dynamite.
Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish attacked the Young Bucks last week (August 3), which many fans thought was teasing that it would be Cole, O’Reilly and Fish vs the Bucks and their chosen partner in the final of the AEW Trios Title tournament at All Out.
However, that won’t be the case as Cole’s team isn’t even in the tournament, and it’s emerged that he still isn’t cleared to return. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said:
“The guys are coming back. Punk’s back tonight, Omega’s coming back soon. Danielson’s gonna be on (next week’s Dynamite), Adam Cole was on TV last week, and he’s not cleared yet but he should be cleared relatively soon from what I understand. So the key guys are pretty much back.”

AEW World Champion CM Punk made his return last night by confronting interim champion Jon Moxley to set up a unification match for the main event of All Out.
The Bucks asked Adam Page to be their teammate in the trios tournament, but he declined the offer, so the speculation is that Kenny Omega will be returning to join them in their match next week against Andrade El Idolo, Rush and Dragon Lee.
And Danielson made his in-ring return two weeks ago in a match against Daniel Garcia after being out since Double Or Nothing, and will face Garcia again next week, this time in a 2/3 falls match.
