Former NXT Champion Adam Cole says he wants to face former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ricochet in AEW.
Both Adam Cole and Ricochet find themselves in All Elite Wrestling in 2024. The two men are most known for their matches together on the independent scene and in WWE NXT back in 2018 and 2019.
Appearing on 3NT Wrestling, Adam Cole expressed his interest in having a match with Ricochet in AEW. He said:
“I would love it too (another match against Ricochet). Again, Ricochet is one of my favorite opponents.”
“He’s a superhero. He’s just unbelievable; the things that he can do.”
“So I’m so excited that he’s here in AEW and I don’t see any reason why at some point down the line, we can’t do Adam Cole versus Ricochet two in AEW now. I hope so. Me too, me too.”
Ricochet is currently gunning for Konosuke Takeshita’s AEW International Championship, while Adam Cole failed to get his match with MJF at Full Gear after losing to Takeshita on the November 13 edition of Dynamite.
