The AEW Trios Championship tournament has led to a lot of drama in the ongoing conflict between the Elite and Hangman Adam Page, and another chapter is set to be added.
The Young Bucks originally asked Page to be their partner in the tournament, which Page rejected, opting to support the Dark Order instead, as they stuck by his side during his journey to the AEW World Championship.
The Bucks’ partner ended up being the returning Kenny Omega, and they defeated the trio of Andrade El Idolo, Rush and Dragon Lee.
Dark Order also picked up a first round victory, when they defeated the House of Black on AEW Rampage.
However, drama unfolded in the Dark Order tonight, when it was announced that 10 had been injured, and Evil Uno was taken out by Andrade El Idolo, leaving Alex Reynolds and John Silver without a partner.
Fortunately for Silver and Reynolds, Hangman agreed to team with them against the Best Friends in the Rampage final on this week’s episode.
