Adam Pearce Announces Change To WWE Raw

WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has made an announcement ahead of tonight’s December episode of the show.

Tonight’s show is the first since Survivor Series, and with Survivor Series done and no more PLEs this year, it essentially feels like the road to Netflix kicks off tonight.

WWE also seemingly sees tonight as something of a big episode as Pearce has announced on social media that the first 30 minutes will be commercial free.

He wrote:

BREAKING #WWERaw will be COMMERCIAL FREE tonight for the first half-hour,

and don’t forget… NEW…DAY ROCKS ……

Adam Pearce had already announced that CM Punk will open tonight’s WWE Raw, two nights after he teamed with Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline to beat the new Bloodline in WarGames at Survivor Series.

The next chapter of that story is that upon agreeing to team with Reigns, Punk is now owed a favor from Paul Heyman, but we don’t yet know what that favor is.

Also being billed as a big part of tonight’s show is the New Day 10-year celebration, which is expected to result in either the big split between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, or an appearance from Big E to repair the partnership.

Also set is Dakota Kai vs Katana Chance vs Shayna Baszler in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament, and a tag team match with Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY and Kairi Sane against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
