WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has fired a shot at WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis amid an ongoing ‘war’ on Raw.
In recent weeks on the show, the Raw brand has been losing control amid the ongoing rivalry between Braun Strowman and Big Bronson Reed.
The pair were initially set to face off on this week’s Raw show, but that ultimately didn’t end up happening after Reed broke the top rope of the ring, before the pair brawled around the arena.
WWE ran polls for fans on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter since the show, asking if the fight should be stopped, or if Adam Pearce should simply let them fight, with let them fight being the decisive winner in each poll.
Reacting to the results, Adam Pearce confirmed that he would be listening to the people, and quelling all attempts to stop the fight.
He wrote:
The people have spoken.
#WWERaw is war. Exactly as you want it. Exactly as it was drafted it to be.
It is official.
Pearce then continued on, taking shots at ‘namby-pambys’ calling for more control over the show, firing shots at Nick Aldis’ running of SmackDown.
He added:
Namby-pambys calling spuriously for “law and order” and “more control” in their broadcasts should feel free to watch Antiques Roadshow or SmackDown.
