Additional Matches To Be Added To Elimination Chamber

It was pointed out this week that WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay per view did not appear to have a full card. Despite being two days away, the event still only has four matches confirmed.

Now, Fightful Select (subscription required) have reported that another match is set to be added to the card. Another championship match has tentatively been set as Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax are being planned to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The report does not state who their challengers will be. However, it is noted that the original plan for the show was to have Naomi and Lana challenge for the titles.

NXT team Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez earned a title shot by winning the Dusty Rhodes Classic. However, they will be receiving their match on March 3, 2021, rather than at Elimination Chamber.

Fightful’s report does note that more matches will be announced but they do not specify what they are.
