A new report has revealed that A&E cameras were present at a WWE Hall of Famer’s recent return match.
Over the weekend, the Wrestlecade convention in Winston-Salem, North Carolina saw the return match of WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat.
Steamboat teamed with FTR to face Jay Lethal, Nick Aldis and Brock Anderson at BTW’s Return of the Dragon event on November 27.
Fightful Select (subscription required) reported that A&E camera crew were present to film Steamboat’s return. This presumably would be used on a future documentary for the network.
In 2021, A&E partnered with WWE for a series of documentaries on legends of the company.
Ricky Steamboat found himself on the winning end of his return bout with many fans in attendance giving his performance rave reviews.
As previously reported, Tony Khan addressed the possibility of Steamboat wrestling on AEW television.
