AEW Star Returns From Injury For First Match In 7 Months AEW

An AEW star was back in action at tonight’s Dynamite taping in Austin, Texas for their first match since November 2022.

Despite the cancellations of Dark and Elevation, AEW has still been running a couple of dark matches before the start of Dynamite to get the crowd warmed up.

One of tonight’s pre-show matches saw a return in the form of Abadon, who teamed with Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue to beat the team of Emi Sakura, Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir.

Abadon had broken their collarbone at an indie show back in November, and this was their first AEW match since then.

Abadon went undefeated throughout the whole of 2022, but only wrestled on Dark and Elevation.

Stay tuned to for more news from tonight’s Dynamite as the show unfolds.

The card for tonight’s May 17 episode of Dynamite is as follows:

Chris Jericho vs. Roderick Strong – Falls Count Anywhere

Ricky Starks vs. Jay White

Jack Perry vs. Rush

Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin vs. Lee Moriarty & Big Bill

Sammy Guevara in action

Britt Baker & Hikaru Shida vs. Toni Storm & Ruby Soho

We’ll hear from Don Callis
