Two Absent AEW Stars Announced For American Gladiators Reboot AEW

Several wrestlers, including absent AEW stars have been announced for the new reboot of American Gladiators.

With it previously announced that WWE’s The Miz will host the new season, we now know that the former WWE Champion won’t be the only name representing the wrestling world in the rebooted Amazon Prime series.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, Wardlow – real name Michael Wardlow – and Kamille – Kailey Latimer – will serve as Gladiators on the show.

Other Gladiators from the wrestling world include former WWE star Eric Bugenhagen (fka Rick Boogs), former TNA Wrestling star Jessie Godderz (aka Mr. PEC-Tacular), and OVW veteran Jessica Roden (aka The Ultimate Athlete, J-Rod).

These names make up five of the 16 Gladiators who will compete against contenders in a variety of physical challenges.

Wardlow hasn’t wrestled since unsuccessfully challenging for Samoa Joe’s AEW World Championship on the March 13, 2024 Dynamite episode. He filed to trademark his ring name in May.

Kamille hasn’t wrestled on AEW TV since losing to Kris Statlander on the October 30, 2024 edition of Dynamite, but did compete in the ICW World Heavyweight Title #1 Contendership 30 Man Square Go on February 9.
