Find Out More About Action Andretti After Stunning Dynamite Debut AEW

Wait… what happened on tonight’s (December 14) AEW Dynamite and who is Action Andretti? Find out what you missed!

In case you tuned into tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite (December 14) and saw Chris Jericho getting completely manhandled, you might have assumed it was a top AEW talent.

However, in a match that Jericho described earlier as a “tune up” and ended in what Excalibur described as “the upset of the decade,” after beating The Ocho, AEW fans met Action Andretti.

The independent wrestling star who showed off impressive offense throughout the bout has appeared most recently for MCW Wrestling (formerly Maryland Championship Wrestling).

The 24 year old high flyer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been wrestling since 2019.

Billed as the ‘Sight to See’, Andretti is a homegrown MCW Wrestling star, attending the MCW Pro Wrestling Training School.

Action Andretti also recently appeared on AEW Dark where he lost in an effort against QT Marshall and later pledged that he would be back for another match in AEW.

In total, he’s had five AEW matches including tonight’s against Jericho, but the prior four were all losses on Elevation or Dark.

He’s also wrestled for numerous notable promotions such as GCW, CZW and WrestlePro.

Shortly after the appearance, Tony Khan took to Twitter to announce that Action Andretti is officially All Elite!

The AEW CEO, Khan writing:

“Congratulations! It’s official! @ActionAndretti is ALL ELITE!

“Thank you to everyone watching #WinterIsComing on @TBSNetwork Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite TONIGHT!”

According to Fightful Select, Andretti had been under an AEW agreement since October, but it’s unknown whether it was full-time as it’s confirmed to be now.
