AEW’s Adam Cole Discusses Going Head-To-Head With WWE NXT

AEW star Adam Cole has discussed an upcoming AEW Dynamite episode set to go head-to-head with WWE NXT at the 2300 Arena.

WWE recently announced an upcoming episode of NXT that will take place from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 6.

This show will mark the second time in just over a month that an episode of NXT and an episode of AEW Dynamite have gone head-to-head, with the two shows overlapping for an hour back on October 8.

One man who has appeared on both shows while head to head is Adam Cole, who made his return to Dynamite on October 8, as well as competing on NXT on the USA Network from 2019 – 2021.

Speaking to TV Insider, Cole discussed the two shows being set to go head-to-head, calling it ‘exciting’, as it brings out the best in both places.

He said:

“I think it’s very exciting. I feel any time there is any kind of competition within pro wrestling, it has been nothing but a positive. When there is only one show in town, it can only do so much. I think when there are situations where people can challenge each other or go up against each other, it brings out the best in both places.

“It’s nothing but a good thing. It’s good for the wrestlers and fans alike.”
