AEW has dropped an interesting tease regarding the in-ring return of Adam Cole, ahead of the upcoming Revolution pay-per-view.
Adam Cole hasn’t wrestled since unsuccessfully challenging for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
The popular star notably suffered a serious concussion at the June 2022 event, after competing with a torn labrum injury.
Cole recently returned to AEW TV on the January 11 edition of Dynamite to reveal that he’s preparing for his in-ring comeback.
On the January 25 show, Cole opened up about his training to return to the ring in a video package.
At the end of the video, Cole noted that he doesn’t know exactly when he will return, but interestingly, the last shot saw Cole stare at the Revolution logo, before the camera focused on the graphic.
AEW Revolution 2023 will emanate from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California on Sunday, March 5.
Tony Khan recently discussed Cole’s in-ring future, noting that he’s excited for Cole’s comeback.
