AEW Star Adam Cole Addresses Rumors Of Becoming A Manager In WWE WWE/AEW

AEW star Adam Cole has addressed the rumor that he was previously pitched to become a manager on the WWE main roster.

In 2021, Adam Cole left WWE after his contract expired with the company. Prior to his departure, Cole was the face of the NXT brand following his signing in 2017. Since then, Cole signed with All Elite Wrestling and has become among the most popular stars on the roster.

Speaking to James Stewart on Stick To Wrestling, Adam Cole was asked about the rumor that he would have been a manager on the WWE main roster. He replied:

“I truly do mean this. Pro wrestling is wild and I know there are discussions that go that not all of us hear about. No one ever personally told me, ‘Hey, we want to bring you to Raw or SmackDown to be a manager.’

“I’m not saying that was never discussed amongst people without my knowledge.

“I certainly think it’s possible, but as far as them bringing me into a room and saying, ‘We want to keep you, but we want to use you as a manager,’ I never had that discussion.”

Adam Cole is set to face Malakai Black in a singles match on the November 6 episode of AEW Dynamite.
