A championship match at last night’s AEW All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium was reportedly cut short by ‘several minutes’.
At last night’s event, TNT Champion Jack Perry defended his Championship against his challenger Darby Allin in a Coffin match.
The match was the penultimate match on the show, with Perry retaining the title in the Coffin match after around 10 minutes.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that the match had ‘several minutes’ cut from it, due to the show needing to be over by 10pm.
He said:
“Part of the problem with (the Coffin match) is they got several minutes cut off the match because the show had to be over by 10.”
After Perry’s defence, Sting made his first appearance on AEW television since his retirement at Revolution, helping Darby fight off the Young Bucks and Jack Perry.
Darby is set to challenge for the AEW World Championship at AEW Grand Slam next month, which is currently held by Bryan Danielson following his victory at All In.
