In the opening bout of AEW All In London 2024, there was already a title change as a ladder match yielded new champs.
Tonight’s ‘London Ladder Match’ featured four teams of three going after the AEW World Trios Championship.
The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Colten Gunn and Austin Gunn), House of Black (Buddy Matthews, Malakai Black and Brody King) and the team of Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta and PAC challenged the Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Nick Wayne and Killswitch) with the titles on the line.
After PAC was unable to compete last year at AEW All In London due to injury, this marked the first time PAC has appeared at the Wembley Stadium show.
The night would prove a victorious one for the Newcastle-upon-Tyne native as in the end, he would leave a new AEW champion.
After a ladder match full of big spots, the match would come down to Christian Cage attempting to climb a ladder (with the help of Killswitch attempting to push him along) while PAC would strike.
In the end, PAC kicked Christian Cage off of the ladder and grabbed one of the belts to mark brand new AEW World Trios Champions, as he now holds the titles with Blackpool Combat Club members Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.
