Current Champion Says They’ll Be ‘Super Bummed Out’ If They Miss AEW All In Texas AEW

A current champion has addressed uncertainty surrounding their status for AEW All In Texas, noting that they’ll be disappointed if they don’t appear on the show.

AEW All In Texas will emanate from the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on July 12.

With ROH Women’s Champion Athena from Texas, it has been speculated that she could be on the card for the show in her home state.

Speaking with The Takedown on SI, Athena noted that she doesn’t currently know whether or not she’s factored into any plans for All In Texas.

Noting that she’d be “super bummed out” if she missed the show, she said:

“I don’t know if that’s in my stars. If not, I have a Ring of Honor pay-per-view that I will probably be defending my championship on.

“You know, I would probably be super bummed out if I wasn’t on All In, but honestly, there’s still time.”

Athena has held the ROH Women’s Championship for over 920 days, winning the gold from Mercedes Martinez at the December 10, 2022 Final Battle event.

Athena recently revealed that she is launching a regular women’s wrestling show in Texas.
