Ahead of this Saturday’s pay-per-view, a new report has revealed the planned main event for the AEW All Out 2024 event.
All Elite Wrestling will present their latest pay-per-view event, AEW All Out 2024, this Saturday, September 7 from the NOW Arena in Chicago. This show will be the second PPV for the company in the past two weeks after All In London from Wembley Stadium on August 25.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Adam Page is slated to be the main event of the All Out 2024 PPV internally.
On the August 28 edition of AEW Dynamite, Strickland challenged Page to a Steel Cage Match for the event, which Hangman accepted.
Things can change with days before this Saturday’s show, but the word within the company is that the cage match would close the event.
This will be Swerve’s first bout since losing the AEW World Championship to Bryan Danielson at All In London and would likely culminate his year-long rivalry with Hangman Adam Page.
Meanwhile, Danielson is set to defend the AEW World Title for the first time against TNT Champion Jack Perry on this Saturday’s pay-per-view.
