The next opponent for AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone has now been revealed after a four-way match on Collision.
The main event of tonight’s August 31 Collision featured a four-woman battle between Queen Aminata, Thunder Rosa, Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb.
The winner of the match would go on to get a TBS Championship match against Mercedes Mone at AEW All Out.
In the end, it was Hikaru Shida who would pick up the victory and thereby get the match at AEW All Out against Mercedes for the TBS Championship.
Shida was recently unsuccessful in challenging Mone for the title on the August 14 episode of Dynamite,
In an AEW programming note for this week, AEW Collision will air live on Friday, September 6 from Chicago in advance of the following night’s pay-per-view.
AEW All Out is set for Saturday, September 7 also from the Chicago area with several big matches already announced.
