AEW star Andrade El Idolo has reacted to Charlotte Flair’s return to WWE TV on Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
On the June 9 show, Flair confronted Asuka during her championship ceremony, in which the Japanese star was awarded a new WWE Women’s Championship.
This marked Flair’s first WWE TV appearance since dropping the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39 in April.
Flair’s husband Andrade El Idolo has now taken to Twitter to comment on the top WWE star’s return.
Supporting his wife, he tweeted:
The Queen 👸🏼
La Reina!!!!! 🔥
Andrade himself hasn’t wrestled since competing in the Casino Ladder Match at All Out 2022 last September.
The Mexican star has been recovering from a procedure to fix a torn pectoral muscle injury he suffered last summer.
Ahead of his return on the upcoming AEW Collision show, reports indicated that Andrade had rejected plans for him to appear in a recent backstage segment on Dynamite.
Andrade has since reacted to this report. For Andrade’s comments, click here.
The AEW star’s wrestling comeback has been announced for an upcoming show before Collision actually begins.
