AEW’s Anna Jay has officially undergone a name change, following the star aligning herself with the Jericho Appreciation Society.
On the August 3 edition of Dynamite, Anna Jay referred to herself as ‘Anna Jay A S’, because it sounds like JAS, get it?
Anna Jay will be in action on Tuesday’s (August 9) edition of Dark, against Megan Meyers. AEW graphics now list Anna as ‘Anna Jay A.S’, making the name change official, rather than just an occasional nickname.
Jay notably helped the Jericho Appreciation Society escape from the shark cage during Jericho’s barbed wire deathmatch against Eddie Kingston on the July 20 edition of Dynamite: Fyter Fest Week 2.
Here’s the current lineup for Tuesday’s AEW Dark:
- Anna Jay A.S. vs. Megan Meyers
- Anthony Henry vs. Orange Cassidy
- Ruby Soho, Athena & Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb, Leva Bates, & Emi Sakura
- Private Party, The Butcher, & The Blade vs. Isaiah Broner, James Alexander, Brayden Lee, & Sam Moore
- The Best Friends vs. Rohit Raju & Ben Jones
- Heather Reckless & Joseline Navarro vs. Marina Shafir & Nyla Rose
- Evil Uno & 10 vs. Peter Avalon & JD Drake
- Kris Statlander vs. Sierra
- Sonny Kiss, Zack Clayton, & Xavier Walker vs. Ariya Daivari, Parker Boudreaux, & Slim J
