AEW Announces First Tag Team Championship Tournament Match

All Elite Wrestling will be focusing on their Tag Team Championships during the first few weeks of TV once the new promotion begins airing its show on TNT on October, 2.

With their TV show now under two months away, AEW Vice Presidents Matt and Nick Jackson competed in their final independent match last night at HOG High Intensity 8.

The Young Bucks teamed to take on fellow AEW stars, Private Party. After the bout, the Bucks revealed that this is not the last time we will see them take on Private Party, with it being the revealed as a first-round bout in the tag team title tournament.

The match will take place on AEW’s second TV show on October, 9.

Before TV, AEW will be putting on All Out at the end of the month. At the big show, Dark Order and The Best Friends will square off in a tag team match where the winner will receive a first-round bye in the tag team tournament.

While Private Party do not have a match announced for All Out, The Young Bucks will look to reclaim their AAA World Tag Team Championships from long-time rivals the Lucha Brothers.
