AEW has taken to Twitter to announce a new match for the next episode of Dynamite, in turn confirming when it will be taking place after uncertainty.
The promotion tweeted that Cody will take on Jimmy Havoc in a singles match on March 25, confirming that the show will be next Wednesday as planned.
On last week’s show Kenny Omega said they weren’t sure if there was even going to be a show next week, and matches were promoted for the “next Dynamite” instead of “next week” just in case.
Also confirmed for Wednesday’s show is a lumberjack match between Wardlow and Luchasaurus, and a parking lot fight between Best Friends and the Lucha Brothers.
The Cody vs. Havoc announcement also confirms that the Blood & Guts match has been rescheduled, presumably as the promotion wants to hold it in front of a live crowd.
With Nick Jackson’s wife expecting a baby, he’s been removed from the Blood & Guts match with a storyline injury and replaced with Matt Hardy.
