All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has announced and then cancelled a championship for this coming Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite on TNT.
The promotion announced the Young Bucks would be defending the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Top Flight, but has since told F4WOnline the match isn’t happening.
The site writes:
We were told that after AEW initially announced a Tag Team Title match between the Young Bucks and Top Flight, that match is not happening. No reason was given other than the announcement was made prematurely, but the match could be made in the future. As of now, they will be featured in a video package on the show.
Another match that has been confirmed though is Scorpio Sky vs Shawn Spears. This match was set for last week but was pulled as it was discovered Sky had come into contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID-19.
Also announced for the show are Tay Conti vs Red Velvet, Penta El Zero M vs Rey Fenix, a Bunkhouse match with Natural Nightmares vs The Butcher & The Blade, Cody Rhodes’ first promo since losing the TNT Title again, and MJF’s induction into the Inner Circle.
