AEW Backstage Reaction To Grand Slam Australia Viewership AEW

The AEW backstage reaction to Grand Slam Australia has emerged after the show’s viewership figures were revealed.

As reported by the Wrestling Observer, the special edition of AEW Collision drew an average of 502,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo, tying the third-highest rating in the show’s history

Reacting to the news, Tony Khan tweeted.

Our last show, AEW Grand Slam Australia on Saturday, was one of my favorite events ever, + it did one of the biggest #AEWCollision ratings ever on TNT!

The past 4 Jacksonville Huntsville Houston Brisbane are my favorite run of Collisions ever!

Also, as noted in a report from Fightful Select, Tony Khan’s mood backstage at AEW Dynamite has echoed his comments on Twitter earlier today – he is happy with how AEW Grand Slam went and had been “vocal” in praising the recent run of Collisions.

Adding some additional context to the story, Fightful reports that part of the jubilation was rooted in AEW having captured the attention granted from the lead-in from the NBA All-Star weekend event ahead of Grand Slam.
