AEW
An AEW star has addressed their recent championship match loss and looked toward the future of the company.
The January 14 episode of AEW Dynamite saw MJF defend his World Championship for the first time since winning it at Worlds End.
With MJF having recently warned Bandido against challenging him, the AEW World Championship didn’t change hands on last night’s show.
Bandido, however, isn’t seemingly disheartened, according to a recent post on Twitter, where he looked towards the future in AEW, sharing:
“Just enjoy the roller coaster!!
“I know at some point some Latino will represent the whole company!!!
“#VIVALARAZA”
By contract, MJF would reflect on his own achievement and his standing in AEW, declaring:
“AND STILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“THE YOUNG GOAT!!!! #LuchaLegend”
The roster of Latino stars in AEW recently expanded, with three new names signing dual contracts that will see them continue to perform in CMLL.
The AEW World Championship will next be on the line on January 16 as MJF heads to Limitless Wrestling to defend the title against Alec Price.
MJF is a former Limitless World Champion, holding the title until his final appearance in the promotion back in September 2019.
