A championship match has been officially announced for the upcoming AEW Battle of the Belts V.
In recent weeks, Kip Sabian has been at loggerheads with AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy and the Best Friends.
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Cassidy agreed that Trent Beretta deserved a shot at his championship before Kip Sabian.
Cassidy and Trent fought for the championship on last week’s episode of AEW Rampage, with Cassidy coming out victorious in the bout.
Now, AEW has announced the All-Atlantic Championship match between Cassidy and Sabian for this Friday’s (January 6) AEW Battle of the Belts 5 show.
The show will air live at 11pm EST on Friday following that night’s episode of Rampage.
No other matches have yet been announced for the show.
After weeks of taunting #AEW All-Atlantic Champ @orangecassidy, @TheKipSabian will finally get the chance to challenge him for the All-Atlantic Title LIVE at #AEW Battle Of The Belts #AEWBOTB5 THIS FRIDAY at 11pm ET/10pm CT on @tntdrama!
