First Match Announced For AEW Battle Of The Belts XII

Announced for the AEW Battle Of The Belts XII show, a title eliminator match pitting an AEW World Champion against a potential challenger.

In a backstage segment on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Mariah May wondered aloud who even was left to challenge her for her AEW Women’s World Championship.

However, her question would not go unanswered for long as Anna Jay arrived on the scene to immediately challenge May.

Later in the show it was confirmed that at the upcoming AEW Battle of the Belts special, Mariah May would face Anna Jay in an eliminator match, which if Jay wins, she earns a title shot.

Battle of the Belts will air this Saturday after Collision. Both shows are set to be taped tomorrow, Thursday, October 17.

No more matches have been announced for Battle of the Belts as of yet.
