This week’s AEW Dynamite (January 19) laid the groundwork for some exceptional matches coming up for next week’s Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS.
Beach Break will see Cody Rhodes taking on Sammy Guevara in a ladder match for the TNT Championship, unifying Cody’s TNT Championship and Sammy’s interim TNT Championship.
During a backstage segment, Adam Cole challenged Orange Cassidy to a Lights Out match at Beach Break to avenge Cassidy knocking Cole’s girlfriend Britt Baker off of the ring apron and through a table on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.
Also announced, a trios match between Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz versus Daniel Garcia and 2point0 as well as Red Velvet taking on “Legit” Layla Hirsch.
