Some ticket sales numbers have emerged ahead of both WWE and AEW having shows coming up at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, Long Island, New York.
The WWE show, which was announced a month earlier than the AEW show, will be Raw on November 29, while AEW’s is a Dynamite on December 8.
As per WrestleTix, as of 8:19pm ET on September 18, AEW had sold 6,167 tickets, with 2,684 still available.
Meanwhile, for the WWE Raw show, as of 9:16pm ET on September 19, only 2,450 tickets had been sold, with 4,948 still available.
There has been a bit of an east coast battle between the two companies recently, especially with WWE having ran Madison Square Garden just over a week ago, and AEW running Arthur Ashe Stadium this coming Wednesday.
Roman Reigns even said in a promo on that very MSG show that WWE runs New York, but these ticket sales seem to show there’s more of an immediate interest in AEW in Long Island.
