Scarlett Bordeaux has admitted that before signing with WWE, she and Killer Kross (fka Karrion Kross) thought that they were going to end up in AEW.
During a virtual signing with ‘Signed By Superstars’ Bordeaux explained that her and Kross were in talks with a few different companies before joining WWE, noting:
“There were a few companies we were talking to right before WWE came along. We thought AEW was gonna be the one. But after a talk with Hunter, we’re like, ‘Nope. WWE’s the place.”
When asked whether or not she would be open to another NXT run, Bordeaux said that she’s currently enjoying life as a free agent, but would consider a return down the line:
“Um, I would return to NXT after six months because I’m having way too much fun right now and we have a lot of cool things happening and there’s so many fun, cool things happening that if I was told tomorrow, I have to go back and I had to cancel everything, I’d be like, ‘Eh, I wanna do all the things I have planned’ because I’m excited about it.”
Kross and Bordeaux were released by WWE in November. Following their departures, Bordeaux stated that the duo don’t plan to return to IMPACT.
Kross recently revealed that he has his sights set on a match with a top AEW star in 2022.
