Former AEW World Champion MJF had a face to face confrontation with a notable content creator at an independent event.
AEW fans recently became familiar with Big Boom AJ of the Costco Guys, with AJ notably defeating QT Marshall during the Full Gear Zero Hour pre-show.
AJ has since made a surprise appearance for Boca Raton Championship Wrestling, appearing on Sunday’s (December 15) show.
After knocking down QT Marshall again, AJ found himself face to face with MJF.
AJ left the ring without exchanging strikes with MJF, allowing the former AEW World Champion to pin Marshall.
You can watch a video of this encounter below.
MJF hasn’t wrestled for AEW since Full Gear either, with MJF defeating Roderick Strong at the November 23 pay-per-view.
MJF is slated to face off against Adam Cole at the December 28 AEW Worlds End event, with the Dynamite Diamond Ring on the line.
AJ – who competed as an independent wrestler in the late 90s and early 2000s – has revealed his future AEW plans, which you can read more about right here.
