The latest AEW contract expiration was revealed last night, when it was announced that Undisputed Elite member Bobby Fish would be departing the company after signing last year.
Fish’s departure comes as a surprise to many AEW fans, as it had seemed that the company was planning a match between the Undisputed Elite and Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, which obviously now will no longer be happening.
It was announced that Fish’s deal would not be renewed and he would be departing AEW.
In an update from PWInsider, AEW has officially confirmed that Fish’s contract expired on August 31, meaning he is now officially a free agent, and can sign anywhere he wants and is free to work anywhere he wants.
Interesting news should the person who pushed him heavily in NXT have taken over the entire WWE.
