Brandi Rhodes Reveals How Stepping Back From Wrestling Feels

Cody Rhodes has returned to WWE and punched his ticket to WrestleMania, but he’s doing it without his wife, Brandi Rhodes.

The former AEW Chief Brand Officer and on-screen talent hasn’t returned to WWE with Cody Rhodes.

She was recently profiled by BARE Magazine and discussed the decision to step back from the wrestling world.

In the interview, she would say:

“It has been about a year. I feel very good about the decision.

“There was a lot about my position in the industry that took a lot of the joy out of it for me.

“Life is too short to be fighting so hard and still left feeling unfulfilled. Especially with everything that I have to offer still mentally and physically.

“I’d like to experience joy in my contributions at this point.”

Brandi may not be currently involved in wrestling, but she has been keeping busy.

She has two YouTube series – Brandi on the Rocks and Shot of Brandi – both of which can be found on the Nightmare Family YouTube channel.

Of Shot of Brandi, Rhodes would say:

“It’s currently on hiatus as we are working on it finding a home outside of YouTube.

“BUT, there might be a single episode popping up soon. Stay tuned!”

Dan Lambert recently claimed that Cody Rhodes “sucked up” to AEW CEO Tony Khan and questioned Brandi’s role in the company.
