An AEW star has broken character to reflect on Hangman Page’s World Championship victory at All In Texas on July 12.
The recent AEW pay-per-view saw Hangman Adam Page victorious over Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match, becoming two-time World Champion.
As the main event of AEW All In Texas, the match saw interference aplenty, including from The Young Bucks.
In a recent interview with Justin Barrasso for Undisputed, Matt Jackson reflected on experiencing the moment where Page won the AEW World Championship, saying:
“It’s not lost on me how cool it has been to be part of so many of his big moments.
“Being involved in the main event also gave me the privilege to prop myself up on a guardrail and watch the finish.
“I covered my smiling mouth with my hand. So proud.”
Recently, The Young Bucks have seen themselves the subject of derision on AEW television, having lost their status as EVPs.
The pair lost their on-screen authority at AEW All In thanks to a loss to Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay.
Following their loss, it was reported that the Young Bucks felt their on-screen authority figure role had “run its course” with their focus shifting back to their wrestling.
Hangman Adam Page is next set to defend the AEW World Championship at Forbidden Door on August 24 against MJF.
