After the November 16 episode, AEW star Anna Jay has broken her silence following her AEW Women’s World Championship loss.
On the November 16 edition of AEW Collision, Mariah May defeated Anna Jay in a No DQ rubber match to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Due to the pre-match stipulation, Jay will never get another shot at the title as long as May is the AEW Women’s World Champion.
Following Saturday’s show, Anna Jay took to social media to break his silence following the championship loss. She wrote:
One day I will be the AEW women’s world champion. But for now I’ll be content with the fact that Mariah May is somewhere sore, and hurting right now.
The journey continues.
During the course of the match, The Vendetta’s Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie were watching Anna Jay’s bout after a backstage segment on AEW Rampage.
Commentary announced that Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa will take place in their “Championship Champagne Celebration” on Saturday, November 23 at Full Gear.
