AEW Announces New Breast Cancer Partnership After Susan G Komen Controversy

AEW has announced a partnership with Breast Cancer Research Foundation, following controversy surrounding their previous Susan G Komen announcement.

On October 19, AEW revealed that they would be teaming up with Susan G Komen for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Following criticism from fans, and CM Punk, who had previously criticised the organization’s practices, AEW removed references to Susan G Komen from the official AEW Shop.

AEW has now taken to Twitter to promote their partnership with Breast Cancer Research Foundation, posting:

#AEW teams up with Breast Cancer Research Foundation (@BCRFcure) to raise money to prevent breast cancer. Donate $40+ by 5pm TOMORROW & be eligible to receive 2 tickets for THIS Saturday’s #AEWDynamite in Orlando LIVE. For more info & to donate, visit AEWCommunity.com”

CM Punk has reacted to this new partnership, retweeting the announcement with a heart emoji:

AEW Dynamite airs live on October 23 for the second Saturday in a row. A pre-taped edition of AEW Rampage will air on Friday (October 22).
