Popular AEW Star Believes He’s The Best He’s Ever Been AEW

AEW star Bryan Danielson believes that, from a wrestling perspective, he’s the best he’s ever been.

With over 20 years of wrestling experience under his belt, Danielson has established himself as one of the best technical wrestlers on the planet.

Speaking with The Ringer, Danielson stated that he believes that he is currently on his A-game, noting:

“I feel as a wrestler, I’m the best I’ve been. I feel like I’m the best I’ve been.”

Danielson gained a lot of popularity while with WWE. During his time with the promotion, Danielson held the WWE Championship on four occasions.

The popular star left WWE after his contract expired, with his final match for the company taking place on the April 30, 2021 edition of SmackDown.

Discussing the end of his WWE tenure, Danielson said:

“It almost felt like they were kind of transitioning me into helping more with the creative, and I would do a lot more undercard stories. And then my last WrestleMania, they just kind of threw me into the main event of WrestleMania.

“But I don’t know. I don’t know if … extension of career is the right way to put it, because I’ve always kind of endeavored to wrestle as long as I like wrestling.

“If that means wrestling on my local independent show or whatever it is, I don’t care if it’s in front of 150 people. I’ve done that before. I’ve wrestled in front of 30 people.”

Danielson is set to challenge for MJF’s AEW World Championship in a 60-minute ironman match at AEW Revolution 2023.
