AEW Star Calls Bryan Danielson Match The Greatest Moment Of His Career AEW

An AEW star has reacted to a career-defining moment for Bryan Danielson that eclipsed his WWE WrestleMania 30 title victory.

The April 2014 WrestleMania 30 saw the then-Daniel Bryan defeat Triple H, securing his spot in the main event of the show.

In the Triple Threat match, Bryan would defeat Batista and Randy Orton to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

During a recent interview with Jamal Niaz, Danielson was asked to compare his WrestleMania win to his AEW All In victory over Swerve Strickland.

The August 2024 AEW pay-per-view saw Danielson defeat Swerve Strickland to become AEW World Champion in a Title vs. Career match.

Danielson chose the AEW All In match, noting the presence of his wife and kids and them being able to step into the ring during his celebration as his career wound down.

Strickland has now responded to Danielson’s statement, reacting to WrestleTalk’s tweet by saying:

“Greatest moment in my career.”

During the Zero Hour pre-show for AEW All In, it was revealed that Strickland had signed a new contract with the company.

It would later be reported that the multi-year contract would see Strickland signed with AEW until 2029.

Danielson’s final match took place at AEW WrestleDream in October 2024, losing the World Championship to Jon Moxley.

With Danielson’s career as a full-time wrestler at an end, he revealed that he hasn’t ruled out another match during his interview with Niaz.

Saying he wants to “live comfortably”, he would also note that he “would come back for a Butlins run” on the UK based holiday camps having worked there early in his career.
