AEW Star Has Hilarious Response To WWE Star’s Tweet

You have to see this AEW star’s hilarious response to his real life partner (who happens to be a WWE Champion) on Twitter!

After WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley continued to walk the line between reality and kayfabe on her social media account, real life partner Buddy Matthews has weighed in.

While both of the fantastic Australians are badasses in the ring, they current find themselves in different companies and obviously, very different storylines.

With Rhea Ripley in Judgment Day alongside Dominik Mysterio with the frequent reference being that Dom and Rhea are a ‘couple’, when Ripley recently sent a supportive shout to her pretend boyfriend, her real one responded.

After Ripley tweeted in response to a photo of Dominik Mysterio: “My Latino Heat 🔥🫠 #Papi” real life partner Matthews had a hilarious reply.

Buddy Matthews responded:

“Yes… yes I am…. Wait!….”

While Ripley remains a dominating force in WWE, so too is Matthews in AEW as alongside his House of Black faction with another half of an AEW & WWE power couple.

In fact, fellow House of Black member Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews will be on opposite sides of a big upcoming match at WWE Backlash.

Black’s real life wife Zelina Vega will challenge Ripley for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at the event.
