An AEW star has praised a recent WWE tag team match on social media, expressing his love of good wrestling.
Referring to the WWE NXT match between Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) and The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods), FTR’s Cash Wheeler tweeted:
New Day vs Pretty Deadly was high quality tag team wrestling.

The match, which took place at NXT Deadline, saw The New Day defeat Pretty Deadly and become the NXT Tag Team Champions bringing to an end their second reign as NXT Tag Team Champions after 98 days.
A Twitter user responded to Wheeler’s tweet, accusing him of:
“Trying to give vague company leaving hints as the contract end is nearing lol.”
Wheeler would take the time to respond to this with a tweet of his own, saying:
“No man. I’m happy to see my friends having fun and doing cool things.
“I’m happy to see a really good young team get a big time spotlight and step up huge.
“I love to see good wrestling.
“Especially tag team wrestling.”
FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) were recently seen at ROH Final Battle in a double dog collar match against The Briscoes.
The brutal match saw The Briscoes become the new ROH Tag Team Champions.
