A current AEW champion seemingly suffered an injury during their match on tonight’s Dynamite show, leading to an abrupt finish.
Tonight’s AEW Dynamite featured the fallout from the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event, and featured Swerve Strickland’s continued chase of the Death Riders, as he faced off against PAC.
Swerve’s match with PAC came after Swerve came to the aid of Kenny Omega as he attempted to fight the Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada following their return to the company at Dynasty.
Swerve then claimed that it was ‘Buck Hunting Season’ before he was jumped by PAC from behind to start the match.
However, the match came to a rather abrupt end, as PAC took a rough fall on his leg to the outside, with him being checked on by doctors on the outside.
When PAC re-entered the ring, Swerve immediately hit the Swerve Stomp to pick up the win in a rather abrupt ending to the match, with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noting that the injury is legitimate.
We wish PAC all the best and a full and complete recovery from his injury.
