AEW
An AEW championship will be on the line in another company, with all the details for the match now confirmed.
AEW have been in an ongoing partnership with the Mexico-based promotion CMLL, and that relationship continues into 2026.
As confirmed on CMLL Informa, January 16 will see AEW stars make their way over to Mexico, defending their respective championships.
AEW National Champion Ricochet will be in action against Titán at CMLL Fin De Semana Internacional on the weekend of January 16.
ROH World Champion Bandido, having faced MJF for the AEW World Champion at Maximum Carnage on January 14, will face Templario.
The Ring of Honor championship matches don’t stop there, with Lee Moriarty defending the ROH Pure title against Xelhua.
Ricochet will also be joined by Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, with The Demand in action during the weekend.
The Demand were in a losing effort to Jack Perry & The Young Bucks on the January 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, with Ricochet having promised revenge on the Jurassic Express member following a past defeat.
Ricochet retained the AEW National Championship against ‘Jungle’ Jack Perry on the New Year’s Smash episode of Dynamite that closed out last year.
