All four competitors for the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator 4-Way match on May 14 have now been revealed.
The match will take place on AEW Dynamite: Spring Break and will see the current champion Toni Storm in action.
As confirmed by Tony Khan on Twitter, the Timeless One will be joined by Mina Shirakawa, Skye Blue and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion AZM.
Toni Storm is in her fourth reign as AEW Women’s World Champion, having most recently defended Mariah May to reclaim the title at Grand Slam Australia in February 2025.
A former WWE star, it was recently revealed that Toni Storm was on the shortlist to join Damage CTRL.
AZM became NJPW Strong Women’s Champion at NJPW Resurgence on May 9 in a three-way match also featuring Shirakawa.
That match saw Mercedes Mone lose the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship after a 313-day reign.
While Mone may have entered the match as champion, it would be AZM’s pinfall victory over Shirakawa that would see the Japanese star leave with the title.
Recently, former WWE star Blair Davenport has spoken about a potential AEW return, noting her friendship with Storm.
