AEW EVPs Matthew and Nicholas Jackson of the Young Bucks have broken their silence following a notable title loss.
While the Young Bucks have yet to wrestle on AEW TV this year, they kicked off their year in a bang in NJPW, winning the IWGP Tag Team Championship at the Wrestle Dynasty crossover show.
With Matthew and Nicholas previously hinting that the January 5 event could’ve been their last Tokyo Dome show ever, this title win fuelled a lot of speculation about their in-ring futures.
The duo ultimately dropped the IWGP Tag Team Championship to Hiromu Takahashi and Tetsuya Naito on Tuesday’s (February 11) NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka show.
The Young Bucks have taken to Twitter following their title loss to share a message of gratitude, writing:
Thank you @njpw1972. Thank you Osaka. Nothing but love.
