AEW Championship Vacated AEW

An AEW Championship has been vacated at this Saturday’s Collision taping, which was taped following last night’s Dynamite in Calgary, Alberta (July 10).

AEW Dynamite went off air with the sight of a bloodied Toni Storm being helped backstage before this week’s Collision taping started.

After knocking off Willow Nightingale in the final of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament final, May will now go on to face Toni Storm at AEW All In on August 25 for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

Elsewhere on the July 10 AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson defeated ‘Hangman’ Adam Page to win the men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, earning a shot at Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at All In London.

However, those were not the only noteworthy occurrences from the taping in Calgary, as on AEW Collision – which is set to air on Saturday, July 13 – a championship was officially vacated.
