Future AEW Absence Revealed? AEW

A former AEW World Champion is set to seemingly miss a number of upcoming shows due to an international tour.

Chris Jericho was last seen in the ring at AEW Dynasty, losing his ROH World Championship to Bandido in a Title vs. Mask match.

The April 4 pay-per-view wrote Jericho off television so that he could undertake a tour with his band Fozzy that ran through May 12.

While he is yet to return to the AEW ring, it now looks like Chris Jericho may be absent in February 2026 due to another Fozzy tour.

Jericho revealed the news that Fozzy would be touring the United Kingdom in a post on Twitter that reads:

“ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

“@FOZZYROCK are returning to the UK 🇬🇧 in 2026.

“You made our last run BIG, but let’s make this one BIGGER

“Many new venues, new songs, and a wild celebration every night!”

The tour runs from February 6 in Brighton to February 21 in Wolverhampton, covering a number of cities in England and dates in Scotland and Wales.

With AEW Dynamite taking place on Wednesdays, Fozzy has shows on February 11 and 18, with three Saturday shows, the same day as Collision.

At the time of writing, it isn’t known when Chris Jericho will return from his current hiatus, with Big Bill and Bryan Keith continuing on without their leader.
