A tweet from AEW star Chris Jericho’s Twitter page regarding reports of a backstage argument at WWE Raw this week has been deleted.
The tweet was one of several posted on Jericho’s account last night that directed followers to the WebIsJericho site for articles on different wrestling news stories, with all those tweets now removed.
For those unaware, WebIsJericho is Jericho’s own news site dedicated to wrestling and rock music.
It’s unclear exactly how or why the article was tweeted from Jericho’s personal Twitter account, but obviously it got a really big reaction, and was taken down.
There was no particular comment made in the tweet about the incident, just the headline of the article and the link.
The article itself is still up on WebIsJericho, but it’s worth making clear that the story was of course not written by Jericho himself, but a writer for his site.
The article covered the incident at Raw, which, according to PWInsider, was a ‘backstage argument’ stemming from this past Monday’s main event between The Judgment Day and Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
The argument was said to be a result of ‘last second’ changes made to the match, which may have resulted in several things not going to plan in the ring.
