AEW Star Comments After Stealing A Car During Dynamite AEW

Christian Cage has sent a not-so-subtle message to Swerve Strickland after the May 22 episode of AEW Dynamite.

With Cage hoping to dethrone Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing this Sunday, last night’s Dynamite saw Strickland facing Nick Wayne.

As can be seen in the highlights below, Strickland was victorious over The Prodigy with the other members of the Patriarchy arriving post-match.

Killswitch would level Strickland, with Cage and Mother Wayne checking on Nick Wayne at the apron.

Able to get rid of Killswitch, Strickland would come face to face with his AEW Double or Nothing opponent, sending him running.

Commandeering a car, Cage’s escape was stopped by another vehicle, with Prince Nana being revealed as the driver.

With Strickland once more able to get his hands on Cage, the head of the Patriarchy ended up taking a DDT on the top of the car with Nana offering a steel chair to the AEW World Champion.

Cage was able to escape a Con-chair-to on the hood of the car, fleeing from his aggressor but sending a threat later on Twitter that read:

“I collect cars.. And championships #AEWDynamite”

Cars featured elsewhere on the May 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, with Tony Khan returning to drive Darby Allin to work.

AEW Double or Nothing takes place on Sunday, May 26 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
