
With CM Punk returning to television for AEW Collision on June 17, an update on ticket sales for the debut show has merged.
Following Tony Khan’s announcement of CM Punk’s return, it was revealed that around 700 more tickets had been sold in the wake of the news.
Now, WrestleTix has an update on the show that takes place at the United Center in Chicago on Saturday, June 17.
According to WrestleTix, the current set up for the venue is 10,214.
As of 9:19pm ET on Sunday, June 4, WrestleTix reports that 8,000 have been distributed.
The report goes on to note that 994 tickets were “moved” since the announcement of CM Punk’s made on AEW Dynamite.
At the time of the report, 2,214 tickets are available for the show.
In addition to CM Punk, another returning name with involvement in AEW will be Ace Steel.
As previously reported, Steel will be involved in the creative for major angles involving CM Punk.
Andrade El Idolo has also teased his return to our screens for AEW Collision.
With AEW Collision airing on Saturday night, it will have major competition from the NFL, with Tony Khan having previously discussed this challenge.
