Matches for the March 8 episode of AEW Collision were taped at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, California on March 5, 2025, and included a championship match.

The March 5, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite naturally featured a number of moments ahead of Revolution, with more to come on the upcoming Collision.
Not only did Swerve Strickland and Ricochet sign the contract for their #1 Contendership Match, Jon Moxley set the tone for his AEW World Championship defense against Cope and MJF threatened to set Hangman Adam Page on fire.
